I find this interesting as I have XP on my machine and when I connect to the Win2000 domain it takes an age. Even from straight out the box. I also encounter periodic connection failures when accessing network resources?????
Thought it was just XP playing up, but if you guys aren't having problems??? Any thoughts Cheers Ali -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Avi Smith-Rapaport Sent: 01 February 2002 18:48 To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: RE: XP Pro logging into Domain Very Slooooooooowly Never mind, but thanks. the company that we run the vpn through sent us the software this afternoon. If so please give me some thoughts on how to go around this and fix it. I am running a SBS2k network with mostly 2k and 98 machines that all log in fine. Just got the XP machine and after you put in the password to the domain it can take up to 5 minutes to login. Help me please.
