Hello all,

Current Windows environment = NT4.0

I have a registered primary DNS server that has direct interface with
the public network.

On my internal network, I have a caching only DNS server that queries
any external zones to this registered primary DNS server.

I am planning to migrate it to Windows 2000 Active Directory aware
environment in a few months time.

Question:-
Do you think I can setup a new Windows 2000 server box that is Active
Directory aware DNS server that contains only internal information? With
this new internal Windows 2000 DNS Server, it will forward all its
Internet zone queries to the local cache DNS Server?

Thanks for your confirmation / feedback.

Regards,
