You may need to reset the default permissions in W2K. I would do this as a last resort, short of rebuilding from scratch. I have had some success, but also some failure. Well not really failure, but it didn't fix the problem. Q266118
Also, you didn't run that nasty IISLockdown tool did you? -----Original Message----- From: Tim Royal [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Saturday, February 09, 2002 5:42 PM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: RE: Upgraded web server to Win2k/IIS, now I'm getting HTTP 403.1 erro rs have you also looked at the execute permissions in the IIS manager (as well as the underlying security permissions on the directoryes). IIS virtual directories and web sites have options for execute permissions (none, scripts only, scripts and executables). it's set to scripts only by default, so it's a shot in the dark. good luck, in any event. tim -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Warren Cundy Sent: Saturday, February 09, 2002 3:25 PM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: RE: Upgraded web server to Win2k/IIS, now I'm getting HTTP 403.1 erro rs Thanks..
