We try very hard to make sure no client system will have more then 2 GP's
applied.  Not only the time, but also troubleshooting issues may come up.

Workstation and user log on. Add one second to logon time or boot up time
for every GPO that must be read. Don't forget that you can apply GPO's to
user and computer security groups as well.

Does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of GPOs that can reside
in an OU?  I can't find any such limits in TechNet, but that's not to say
there aren't any.
