Depends on the config.... It might be yours or their fire wall blocking pings.... Might be DNS related if their records were changed recently. (you - I assume use a different name server at work than home) so their changes may have not propagated throughout the internet. Have you tried any DNS related diag tools? IE samspade, etc.?
