If you format the second partition as NTFS windows 2000 will recognize the
new partition Raj. I just went through a process of creating 3 additional
partitions on a machine for use with data and OS's. A little plug for
PartitionMagic Pro 7, it rocks!

Any further questions I'd be glad to help if I can. You can contact me off

Have a great day all.

Tim,
Thanks for the response, actually when I format the
second drive as NTFS there won't be any Linux, I wan't
to use this second drive in NT 2000. So, once I format
the second drive as NTFS NT 2000 professional will
recognize it then? because currently NT doesn't even
see that drive.
Thanks
