check your event log first of all then:
look at the NTFS file permissions, write access has possibly been revoked ?
is there an error message when you try to upload (http or ftp upload ?)

Hi,
After installing that II5 cumulative patch I can't seem to upload any
files to my web server. I can download but not upload. I have
uninstalled the patch but still I can't do it. Does anyone know how I can
restore this or point me in the right direction? People used to be able
to upload fine but now its no go. I'm not 100% sure that its the patch
but...
