Need big time help here. We have a Win2000 A/D domain and our company was recently purchased. The other 3 companies are running NT4.0. They want to set up a root at the main company. Does that mean we will have the new root/tree of the new company and we can join this with our existing root - ending up with 2 trees??
My understanding is we can't rename a root. If we are told to 'conform' by the higher ups, how can we change our domain as a child of this new tree? I hope I have the terms straight here.
