Now I understand the DDNS and DHCP Registration in Windows 2000, how it updates the A and PTR record for all Windows clients, now I have everyone in my DNS, great!. Beside the servers, why would I care if the clients updated their record to DNS or not? Let say if I have WINS on my network, do I care about this? what 's the point? Can someone explain it to me?
