This is my case - Dell with their installed Office XP which is really a
retail version. Assume you ran the sysprep and on the cloned copy, it only
asked for valid WinXP serial number but OXP worked fine?

This Office XP wasn't done with corporate codes, it was an OEM (Dell)
installed version. I activated it then Ghosted the drive to another similar
machine. Everything works fine.

It will never ask you for the activation stuff as long as you installed
it with the corporate licensed codes instead of the retail ones.

I've used Ghost 5.x to clone a Windows 2000 box with Office XP. Office
XP did not require reactivation. Close, but not exactly what you were
asking about...

Just trying to plan ahead - has anyone ran into problems using Ghost 7.5
to clone an XP box with Office XP activated?

Does the sysprep that comes with XP reset both WinXP & OfficeXP
activation ?
