you can use updateExpert:

This application checks all your workstations and servers for any patches and you can 
install them to all your workstations at once. Also you can run it from your  
workstation, not need for a server.

So what are people out there doing to make sure their users are kept
up-to-date on hotfixes?  And I don't mean that email to Staff telling them
to go to a network share and install it.

HFNetChk is a great tool for seeing who needs what, but when it comes down
to giving the users what they should have I'd like to have some kind of
automation.
