I have an interesting problem happening in my network. All
Windows 2000 Server platforms encounter an extremely slow copy
performance through Windows Explore as I copy from Windows NT computer
to Windows 2000 computer. It displays "Prepare to copy ......" for long
time, and then eventually slowly copy files over. Or when I tried to
click on Properties on network drive, it is also slow to display its
property.
I use Cisco Router and Cisco switches, also have Wins, and DNS
setup on NT 4.0 domain. All computers use the same subnet and gateway.
All use TCP/IP protocol
It looks like there is incompatible between Windows NT and
Windows 2000. If anyone has an idea please let me know.
