  While the above will prevent "accidental" intrusion, there is freely
available software which will bypass all of that in minutes.  The security
features of 802.11b are broken, plain and simple.  Sure, for a home network,
the answer is likely, "Who cares?", but one should be aware of the
situation.  :-)

  I've actually heard people recommend turning WEP *off*.  Depending on the
devices, it can significantly slow things down.  Meanwhile, the security it
provides is a joke.  Might as well speed things up.  ;-)
