I think that it depends on what the use of these thin terms will be. I work for a manufacturing company. The welders needed access to our corporate CAD drawings from the shop floor. The shop floor gets about as scummy as they come. We specked out a few different thin term solutions, but our main concern was that the keyboards and mice get very dirty. Some of the units that we checked out where all in one keyboard solutions(key tronic), which where nice but would get gunked up and have to be junked in a matter of months. We ended up with NCD thin star products, because they use regular PS/2 mice and keyboards. The NCD units work great for us and if I remember correctly the baseline price was just under $500.. So I guess my point is that the environment where you will place these units will influence your decision. Just my experience.. I wanted to put ASCII Wyse/60 terminals down there and convert all the CAD files to ASCII art..
