Depends on the original group policy.  The default setting for group policy
software deployment is that once the policy is no longer in effect, the
software does not get removed.  If you do not want certain desktops to
receive the policy at all, or you want the software to be removed if they
are members of the specific security group, modify your domain group policy
so that when the specific system is no longer in the scope of the group
policy, the software is removed.

Hi Guys, 

I installed Windows 2000 and i created a policy for the all domain. Within
the policy  create software packages for the company standaard desktop. 
This works ok, HOWEVER,  now we need to have some desktop  free from
policies therefore we created a security group and denied policy apply right
to this group.  

It seams dat once the policy gas been applied ( ie software installed) the
security 
group has no effect anylonger on the policy,  is this the right behaviour,
and how can 
prevent  this behaviour ?
