Yeah - that is what I was looking for. Do you guys find this better than
traditional imaging?

D,

You can install all the apps you want to your OS and then run RIPrep.exe to
take an image.

Cheers,
Tony

Subject: Distribute applications VIA RIS

Hi there...

I have setup RIS on my W@K server, and have an entire W2K environment.

I have been reading about how you can push out a Office XP install with the
OS through RIS. Can you also deploy other apps like this?

>From what I have been reading, all you need to do is have a clean base
install of w2k. Have a server based install point install office from that
admin point, then run riprep.exe.

Can I do this with other MS products as well... IE analysis services for
SQL, etc. And how about 3rd party apps - things like winzip, etc? Can they
be installed to the OS, then run riprep?

Thanks in advance!

  D
