Denyse,

The short answer is "No, you cannot create separate sessions on XP Pro."
You can't have 2 people working on a XP Pro box at the same time with
different sessions. It's Windows XP Remote Desktop, not Windows XP Terminal
Server.

If you want to use this Terminal Services for support purposes and want the
user to see what you're doing on the desktop then you need to use the Remote
Assitance feature instead of Remote Desktop.

"I especially like the whooshing
sound they make as they fly by."

I have a question on this topic, but it's for XP. Any help would be great.
In the XP Pro version, you can connect to your desktop via Remote Desktop,
however, if you do this, you logout the user connected via the console.

In W2K, it doesn't work like this as it creates separate sessions. I
understand that this is the desktop version etc..... but is there a way to
setup XP Pro so that it works similar to W2K server when connecting remotely
to an XP Pro workstation? (To connect to sessions instead of logging the
console user out?)

I haven't been able to find any documentation to do this, and I don't know
if it is possible, but I figured I'd throw the question on the table just in
case.

Have a great day,

Denyse

also look at the Remote desktop client for XP
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/rdclientdl.asp

A more feature rich client (ie alt tab works in client window rather than
sessions on local PC)

nothing wrong with the web based one.

cheers
