Hi All Hope you can help. I've a small network a couple of W2k pro clients and Wok Advanced server. One of the W2k pro machines is running Internet connection sharing for an ISDN line.
For some reason when I enable 'Allow other machines to dial up the Internet' the W2K Sever repeatably dials. The server is running Active Directory, but I've removed all other server and most unnecessary components (IIS). I've also stopped most of the services which aren't directly required. But still it keeps dialling out ?? It has a static IP and DNS. Although it is Active Directory I stopped DNS server service as well. The server is running SP 2 and the latest Microsoft patches. Has anybody any thoughts what could be making an external request. It's driving me up the wall..
