Doh! I need something to drink. I totally forgot about that simple little
fact of Standard and Advanced server. So let's re-word this.

With 2000 SQL Standard Edition running in Windows 2000 Advanced server, is
there a way for SQL to see the 5GB or RAM?

Cheers,
Tony

Hi all,

Just a quick one. SQL 2000 Standard edition can only address 4GB or RAM. Is
there a way around this besides getting Enterprise? If I get Enterprise,
must it run on 2000 Advance Server?

Cheers,
Tony
