I have what I think is a problem or just a memory lapse on my part. I've just installed a child domin into my existing W2K domain, which has AD and houses DNS along with a couple of other w2k server. My question or problem is that after I install this child domain, configure it to connect to my existing DNS server, select to make it a catalog server, and convert it to mixed mode, I'm still unable to view any of the resources in the original domain. When I attempt to browse the domain I receive an error that states that the 'no objects are available in this location' and when I attempt to browse the entire domain I don't see all of my resources in the original domain. I also get the same error when I try to view or add resources to the child domain from the parent domain. Did I overlook something when I installed this as a child domain or is this the way it's supposed to be? It's early and I need help.
