Try HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup In there are the entries "Installation Sources" and "Source Path", point those at the location your files are at.

Hi there... I am just trying to add/ remove some windows components on a server. I obviously will need the w2k cd, but when it asks me, it will only look in the cd rom drive. Is there a way to modify the registry or something so that it will look at an I386 folder on the hard drive? When I get the dialog, there is no option to browse. The machine is remote, and the setup files are on the hard drive. Thanks in advance!
