Subject: Slightly OT but does anyone know how to decipher processor
types

Hi,

Does anyone know how to decipher processor type/speed from the information
given by Windows NT.

E.g. we have an oldish machine that claims to have an Intel X86 Family 5
Model 8 Stepping22 processor, now what does that mean. Its running our mail
server and webserver so we don't really want to take it down unless
necessary.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Graeme
