Exactly. If I attempt to open ISM I get an error stating that the service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. It then asks if I want to attempt to connect to it in the future blah blah blah..I did have to disable the WWWSVC service. Other than that its now a matter of taking another step into the land of Apache. Please feel free to post any other issues I need to be weary of. Also...would you by some chance know of a forum for this type of discussion?

For example, if you use the "IIS Manager" (or whatever it is called now) to stop an individual website, the IIS engine itself will continue running. You need to stop the WWWSVC and IISADMIN services using the Service Control Manager. Also, it would not surprise me if you needed to disable all IIS services in the SCM, and then shutdown and reboot. -- Ben Scott <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | The opinions expressed in this message are those of the author and do not | | necessarily represent the views or policy of any other person, entity or | | organization.
