I have a remote user using Win2000 on a laptop. I have set up a connection for her to dial in to our network to retrieve mail, etc. The connection is set up to ask for the domain. When manually starting the connection, everything is fine.
This connection is also set up as the default dial-up connection in Internet Explorer. The only problem is that the domain name gets dropped from the connection when using this method, even though it is set up to be saved. So the next time the person goes to dial, they have to re-type the domain name.
