  Just FYI, not all USB mice support this.  A PS/2-to-USB adapter is usually
just a physical adapter -- it does no protocol conversion.  The mouse itself
has onboard logic which detects PS/2 vs USB, and switches modes
appropriately.  If the mouse is USB only (cheaper stuff, mainly), the
PS/2-to-USB adapter will not work.
