Hello all. I am still not clear on this issue. I have a home DC. I know that normally you would never allow a user access to a DC. I have two questions.
First, what do I do about Everyone on this home DC if I have some user accounts? What I wish to do is deny these users access to selected logical drives including the one where Win 2K resides. I mean, I thought this was a simple matter. Just remove Everyone in all places where control is desired. Not so? I tried doing this by removing Everyone from every logical drive, including the one with Windows. This created a problem, however. On the logical drive where Windows resides is also where pagefile.sys is. If I remove Everyone here, Windows no longer sees the paging file. So what do I do? Second, same questions for user accounts that are not directly on the DC. Thanks in advance.
