What are you saying that on Friday the services were set to start as a domain account and on Monday the same services were changed to use a local system account?
If so: Who was on the server and what were they doing? This doesn't change by itself. -----Original Message----- From: Ted Lazaridis [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, July 09, 2002 2:01 PM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: Service startup accounts Greetings All, I noticed something funny on one of my Win2K Server standalone boxes. There's a bunch of apps using Domain accounts to start Services. There was some network maintenance done over the weekend, and the DC was unavailable, so the Services could not contact it to start. I came in on Monday and noticed that the Services were all set to start up under the Local System account. Is this a feature of Win2K? I asked around here and no one touched the server, so I'm assuming it happened automatically. Any thought on this one? Thanks in advance.
