Well You see I have all of our standard SMS Packages setup and advertised to
certain collections. Right now our desktop techs manually open SMS console
and perform about 50 steps in order to add a client to the collection and
advertise software to that client. Not all Clients will need this software
and It is usually used for Products like visio and project were the client
has to buy a license first. With this vbscript all they have to do is run
the script from the website type in the computer name and hit ok at the end.

Seems to save more time for things like Quake and Unreal and might even be
easy enough for our help desk to use.

Thanks matt

What is your Environment like? This could possibly be called during a
Login Script?

Its a script that adds a computer name to a Collection in SMS. I am not
that familiar with ASP page but will take a look and see what I can do.

Thanks Matt

No way... Web browsers won't (well, given all the recent bugs found, let's
say *shouldn't*) execute unsigned/untrusted code without downloading, nor
without a warning to the user.

What are you trying to do... Make a virus/worm or something? What does the
VB script do that you couldn't do in an ASP page?

I got a question,

I have a windows 2000 Server with ISS. I have created a Website
that has a hyperlink to a .VBS File. When the user clicks on the hyperlink
it asks to open or to download. Is there a way to Config ISS to just have it
open never download.

Any help would be appreciated.
