This is the base OS image installed at the RIS server from a CD, as opposed to an image of a workstation. Workstation with apps image I have working fine, the CD image not.
Here is what the line looks like in the sif file: TimeZone = "(GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)" Best Regards, Dan Bartley -----Original Message----- From: Woods, Tony MHR:EX [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, July 11, 2002 16:04 To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: RE: RIS and sif file question So you're saying that when it does it's last reboot and goes through the mini setup unattended, it still prompts you to set the Time Zone? As an fyi - If you set it on your current machine before imaging and leave that section blank, it will default to it. Cheers, Tony -----Original Message----- From: Dan Bartley [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, July 11, 2002 12:50 PM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: RIS and sif file question I have set up a Win2k server for RIS. Everything is working fine for 2k and XP. I've applied the 2 updates for server images and XP. The only thing I can't seem to resolve is the Time Zone entry in the sif file. No matter how I put it in for the XP Pro image, the installation still requires manual input to select the Time Zone. I'm trying to put the Eastern Time Zone, does anyone have a suggestion on the correct format for this entry? I copied from the KB article on entries in the setup files, but that does not work.
