Are those Catalyst switches..? Don't they have built in web-based administration...? We have a Catalyst 2900 that does this stuff. Pretty slick, maybe you should check the Cisco site for documentation, or refer to the manual. Besides that if SNMP is enabled, then you could run MRTG to monitor the traffic as well.

Our company is "downsizing" and we lost our network guy. I've got to pick it up now (I'm the server guy) and with all the personnel moves going with the downsizing, I can't keep up. We have Cisco 4006 and 3548 switches. Is there anything that can more or less tell me which PC's are connected (either IP address or NETBIOS). Someting like "OK switch, tell me whose connected to your ports" :-) Thanks, Joe Minuni, MCSE Moyer Packing Company Souderton, PA. ------ You are subscribed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
