We have a database program which stores data on our main file server. It is less than eloquent in closing open files when a user logs off but we need to close all open files in order to re-index or do other DB management.
Right now we have to highlite each open file, select "close" and then confirm that request. It is worse than tedious. Is there a command or program that will allow us to close all open files on the server in a particular subdirectory and in all subdirectories below that?
