You can, and I am doing exactly that.
Two NC6xxx Fibre cards teamed to the user LAN in each node in load
balanced mode rather than auto fail on fault.
Some said why bother, but I responded with "why fail the whole cluster
over if just one card, or one cable or one switch port fails or is
unplugged?"

Subject: NICs and Cluster Servers

I have had mixed answers on the following question and would like to get
your opinion on the issues.

Here is my question.

I have two Compaq servers running Windows 2000 Advanced Server. I am
clustering the two servers.

Currently I have two nics in each server. (1-10/100 for Cluster Only Use
and 1-10/100 for Network Only use)

I am wanting to put in 2 (TWO) Gig Fiber cards in each of the servers
and remove the Network Only 10/100 Nics.

I want to get some sort of Load Balancing going on for my users.

Now, I have been told that I can't do this with Clustering and I have
been told that I can do this with Clustering.

So...can I or can't I.

Thank you,
