We setup an OU for the users that we don't want browsing the network. Then
created a group policy for this OU that disables this. Specifically - User
config / Admin Templates / Windows Explorer / and enable the below:

Remove "Map Network Drive" and "Disconnect network drive"
No "Computers Near Me" in My Network Places
No "Entire Network" in My Network Places

Subject: Disable seaching\browsing of AD

I am attempting to disable the search ability on some computers of AD.
They are all win 2K Pro systems, the domain is all Win 2K. The systems are
part of the domain.
I want the feature in My Network places, when you click on the directory
icon to return no more than the domain.
I don't want users to see the OU's, folders, users, or any objects.
What is the best way to go about this?
