If the clients are XP Pro, then they already have IE6, so it is a matter
of updates, not full install.

You can run an SUS server to push out updates or you can run the XP SP1
.msi package via GPO and that will also update IE6 to IE6 SP1. Either
way, you automate updating the IE6.

I haven't seen an .msi package for the full IEAK install, if that is
correct then GPO won't work for a full install. You could pass it in a
logon script with the switches to keep it silent.

Dan Bartley

If you created a flat image, then it should have generated a folder
structure with the executables in it.

Subject: IEAK - Dumb Question

OK I have read extensively, but I STILL don't understand

I am using a W2K network of < 100 users running XP Pro on their
desk/laptops.
I have downloaded IEAK6 and have created a 'flat' image.

Question is:

How do I roll this out to the clients?
Is there a way of adding this to the software install in the GPO or
something similar?
