FWIW, AtGuard (remember AtGuard?) was a mess - albeit a powerful one - and 
was, by reputation, significantly improved after Symantec bought it and put a 
couple of revisions into it.

So Raptor's purchase by Big Yellow might be a good thing, but you might have 
to wait through a couple of upgrade cycles.
