I wouldn't try it with less than 1GB free, since you could develop all sorts
of problems midway.

BTW, it would be worse upgrading from NT4 because more of the files that
need to be updated would be in use...

Does anyone know exactly how much disk space is required from upgrading NT
to W2k professional?  I know the spec docs say 650 mb but I would think it
is less because NT was previously on it and not like 95.
