I have a P4 1.5Ghz, 1Gb DDR, 2x 60Gb IDE. This machine is a DC and is servering about 50 workstations and 60 users. I have IIS, Cognos, SharePoint, Exchange2K, SQL2K and Analysis Services. My IT deppartment receive a gift: a Dell PowerEdge 1500SC with 2 P III Xion 1.4Ghz, 2Gb RAM, 3x 36Gb (RAID-5). It's possible i install SBS (W2K+Exch2K+SQL2K), make a bakup from the old computer (System State + MS Information Store)and restore in the PowerEdge? I will execute the instalation, the restore, give the same name to new server with the server out of the network. After restore, i will shut down the old server and put the new server online again. It will work? It's possible?
