Just open the basicws template and apply it.  We ran into similar issues
when we were doing a domain migration - former company had some very strict
GPO settings that would not get changed unless we went back to the basic.
Works like a charm.

Might be considered an odd question, but it's for troubleshooting... I ran
the Security Configuration & Analysis tool on my home w2k network and
applied both the Secure and HiSecure templates. Now I'm, well my roommate,
is having some access issues and I'm not really sure how to solve them, so
I'd like to remove the templates or settings and start from scratch. How can
I go by removing this? Any response is appreciated.
