I have a few weird things happening on our network that i am maintaining, although not really trained extensively, was wondering if anyone could help me or steer me in the direction i need to be looking. I have done numerious seaches on the net before but not come up with much. the first one is IE Every now and then, if there have been problems with our internet connection i get a message box on some of our laptops saying Internet Explorer search page cannot be found. The first time round i assigned a fixed DNS entry and it worked fine and for a few months it was fine. Now yesterday the internet was down. We link up to the internet through the company in this building who we rent office space from, and we use their internet connection. I don't know if this is making any sense? Anyway yesterday the net went down and when it came up some laptops were displaying that message again.
