I have not got much experience in deploying upgrades via Windows.
However, I need to deploy an upgrade the Office's MDAC components due to a spreadsheet used company-wide that requires the upgrade. I know that many of these packages have command line switches, so I ran MDAC_TYP.EXE /?, and it told me that I could use "/Q" for Quite mode. When I run it with /Q, there is no difference. Dialogue boxes still come up, and the license agreement does too. All I want to do is run this upgrade quietly and silently from a login script. How can I do it without user interaction? -- Adam Smith Information Technology Officer SAGE Automation Ltd.
