Hi, You could still use Kix if you want to. The user logon script is a property of the user object, as it was in NT4 but you have the possibility to assign more scripts to a user or group based on GPO.
However I think you should start using Vbscript instead and yes you can list the group membership for a user trough vbscript and ADSI. For more information regarding ADSI download the ADSI SDK from: http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/nts/downloads/other/ADSI25/sdk.asp regards, Jan Gustavsson -----Original Message----- From: julian brunt [mailto:julian_brunt@;hotmail.com] Sent: den 1 november 2002 10:32 To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: VB Scripting - INGROUP HI I used to use KixTart to run loginscripts under Windows NT4. Now we are using a Windows 2000 AD and all scripts myst be VB and run from within the GPO. What I would like to know is: Does VB have a way of querying the group membership of a user account the same way (Or more complex - usually the case) to check this membership parameter?
