All,
I am having a interesting problem and thought I would ask the group
what they thought.
I have Users that use the Microsoft ISA firewall and Proxy Client to access
the internet and operate a custom made java FTP application.
It seems that the FTP is being blocked by our firewall when it returns info
to us.It is using different ports each time and all port numbers are higher
numbers. Instead of having our security guy allow that site to use any port
we want to fix the fact that it is using passive ftp and have it use port 21
and 20. (passive ftp is disabled in the ie browser.)
Is there a way to disable passive ftp in the firewall client or on the ISA
Server controlling the firewall client.
Matt
