Good question. Long story short, "corporate" is in R.I. and I'm an admin at
one of the remote sites in Oregon. The news I get from them about SMS is
they tested it but it's too expensive (six digits for all the licensing). Do
you need a client CAL for each PC you're getting info from? We're at 1000+
PC's and 50+ (at least!) servers.

Is there any kind of "member directory" of people on this list so we can
perhaps get a feel for who's worked on/ran into/tried what? I'm not really
sure how detailed I should go into my replies w/out putting everyone to
sleep. OTOH I hate to give incomplete answers...

Been there. They don't offer "auditing only" stuff for large groups (I
called and asked). This does work great for single-use auditing, but you
