I am having an issue where I loose 1 set o security permissions on a NAS device. The odd thing is the system account permission stays in tact. The other users for tha folder turns into teh SID. What causes a file permission to loose it's name and show the SID? I thought lack of a connection to a DC was teh answer, but the SYSTEM account remains intact. And, YES teh account is still valid in AD.
