I just had a EXTREMELY unsettling experience. Somehow, and I truly have no idea how, the domain policy for my system turned off local logins for every user account. Only because I was already logged in as an administrator on one of the domain controllers did I have a chance to reactive local logins.
Since my domain has been behaving quite strangely of late, and because we don't have that many workstations, I've gone ahead and re-built my domain controllers. Almost all my workstations have responded without problems. I said almost. I still have one workstation that I cannot log onto. I get the message "local policy does not permit interactive login". And because I've re-built the domain, the servers say the credentials for this workstation are invalid and must be redone. Is there a way of logging on to this workstation, or do I have to re-install Windows 2000 Pro?
