What is the purpose of the Managed By tab within AD Users & Computers?
I am trying to use AD to document who is responsible for what. Specifically servers contained within an OU. The Properties / "Managed By" tab appears to be useful for this. However, I am wondering if entering an account ID in there actually grants some sort of access, or is it just used for documentation purposed.
