OT: VB question or VB Discussion Group

Hi

Does anyone know of a good VB discussion group?

or

CAn anyone help me to select an sql server and database from a command button.

I am currently writing an application that relies on a database, access or SQL. I want to click on a button and select a server, and then select another and interrogate the chosen server to select a database.
My problem is I have no idea how to.
Any help would be appreciated
