I understand where your coming from however, our installation program doesn't look for that file... Like I was stating before this is just this one customer, and we've had thousands of users from all over, UK, Canada, USA install this software and I've never seen anything like this.

There is probably something hard coded into the installation procedure for your program looking for that folder. Couldn't you use something like %windir%\inf? I'm no programmer though. -----Original Message----- From: Barr, Christopher [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, December 30, 2002 7:38 AM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: RE: Off Topic, Windows ME question,... Is Windows ME installed to a different folder name that c:\windows? -----Original Message----- From: Barr, Christopher [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, December 30, 2002 7:35 AM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: Off Topic, Windows ME question,... I have a (only one) customer who is trying to install our software, they are running Windows ME and receiving the following error message... I have searched tirelessly and cannot find anything, any ideas, suggestions or comments. The exact error message reads "C:\Windows\inf\MePh643c.rra' The directory or file cannot be created.(0 x 52)". I can't seem to find anything about .rra files or for that matter why it's in the inf folder. ------ You are subscribed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% ------ You are subscribed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% ------ You are subscribed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% ------ You are subscribed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
