I understand where your coming from however, our installation program
doesn't look for that file... Like I was stating before this is just this
one customer, and we've had thousands of users from all over, UK, Canada,
USA install this software and I've never seen anything like this.

There is probably something hard coded into the installation procedure for
your program looking for that folder. Couldn't  you use something like
%windir%\inf? I'm no programmer though.

Is Windows ME installed to a different folder name that c:\windows?

I have a (only one) customer who is trying to install our software, they are
running Windows ME and receiving the following error message... I have
searched tirelessly and cannot find anything, any ideas, suggestions or
comments. The exact error message reads "C:\Windows\inf\MePh643c.rra' The
directory or file cannot be created.(0 x 52)". I can't seem to find anything
about .rra files or for that matter why it's in the inf folder.
