You cannot perform a LOG backup on a database that has "Truncate Log On
Checkpoint" set.  This mean that the Transaction Log is automatically
truncated.  You can either disable "Truncate Log On Checkpoint" or only
perform full backups of these databases.

FYI, Northwind and Pubs are sample databases supplied by MS and don't need
to be backed up.
