Is there a way to clear out any cached DFS info from client machines?
Here is my situation:

I have a domain DFS based on a Win2k SP-3 server. There are roughly 100
DFS links. So this is mapped out as our Q: drive. Occasionally (e.g.,
today) a user will open up their Q: drive and the last 10 DFS links will
not appear as a subdir of the Q-root. In the DFS snap-in, the status of
the links in question is A-Ok, and the shares that the links point to
are perfectly accessible.

Also, very occasionally, the Q: drive on the client side will have the
listing of all the links (as subdirs to the Q-root), but within each
link, there is no further listing of files/dirs on the share. Again,
browsing to the UNC of the share shows all the files/dirs just fine.

Disconnecting/Remapping the DFS root does not solve the problem, and a
reboot does not solve the problem. It's just one of those things that
seems to fix themselves.

Is there a way to forcibly purge from the client any DFS history
(besides the "Clear History" button in the DFS tab)? I think DFS is
swell, but this occasional blips are a headache I'd like to be rid of.

Rant rant rant....
